Texture Inventory Study

"Texture Inventory Study" 11” x 14” | Micron Pen This piece explores the relationship between composition, texture, and depth through ink. By experimenting with various mark-making techniques, I studied how different textures interact and create a sense of dimension. This study served as both a creative exercise and a foundation for my upcoming project, "30,000 Marks," where I will challenge myself to create 30,000 individual marks on a 22” x 30” surface. Through this process, I aim to push the limits of repetition, detail, and patience in my work.
